“It is about an open heart and a clear mind. An open heart is full of compassion for all beings, Mahakaruna in Sanskrit. A clear mind understands the emptiness of all phenomena, Shunyata in Sanskrit. Developing this unconditional compassion and wisdom is the goal of our practice.”
Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche
Buddha Nature and the Three Yanas
What exactly is ‘buddha nature,’ and how is it viewed by those practicing the Buddhist tenets according to the three yanas? The Sanskrit term ‘yana’ means ‘vehicle’ or ‘conveyance’ and refers to the different spiritual methods or paths one pursues on one’s journey to enlightenment. These three ‘transports’ are categorized as Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana. This summer, Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, an authentic realized master, will lead us through a clear elucidation of what defines these three approaches to awakening and how they differ.
Buddha Nature, or Tathagatagarbha in Sanskrit, literally means the ‘essence of those who are Thus Gone’, those who have achieved buddhahood. Who possesses the ‘Tathagatagarbha’, the innate potential to also achieve enlightenment? Each and every sentient being! It is our most fundamental, radiantly luminous, empty, unproduced, unchangeable, indestructible and aware nature. Pith instructions, the quintessence of Tibetan Buddhist practice, provide the key to recognizing, cultivating, and activating our mind’s pure intrinsic nature. To receive such instructions from Rinpoche, will be an incredible opportunity and an inexpressible blessing.
Empowerment
Kurukulle, also known as Pema Khandro, represents the dynamic manifestation of Red Tara. She embodies Enlightened Wisdom in feminine form and appears as a semi-wrathful dakini adept at attracting all possible resources. Revered across all Tibetan Buddhist traditions, the red dakini acts as a magnet, drawing in wisdom, happiness, health, wealth, and long life.

After mutual agreement each participant gets a “Yogi Job” for about 40-60 min daily.
For example: helping in the kitchen, vacuuming, cleaning the sanitary facilities etc. We are very happy about your help and we try to find a suitable task for everyone.
