Use the the energy of spring for relaxation and activation of body and mind.
Over the Easter holidays, treat yourself to four days of yoga and meditation at the beautiful Buddhist center Rangjung Yeshe Gomde! Within the lush nature of the Upper Austrian pre-alps, you can relax and heal from your everyday stress.
Yoga with our certified yoga teacher Cecilia Pla will help you to rewind. In the hussle of daily life, the connection to the body can get lost, but through yoga, it is possible to reconnect and strengthen our relationship with the body.
In addition, regular meditation sessions will enrich your experience. Through meditation, we can learn how to become aware of the workings of the mind, and we begin to relate to our mind in a healthy way. Normally, we search for happiness in things and outer circumstances, but here, we will discover that it is also possible to find a wellspring of happiness within.
In order to make your stay enjoyable, our team at Gomde will offer healthy, delicious food. Also, cozy single or double rooms are available.
MEDITATION
Under the guidance of Lama Thierry, we will practice meditation. We will gently direct our attention to the movement of our breath and our body awareness so that the busyness of our mind can be quieted.
YOGA
We then take this experience into movement in several sessions of yoga-inspired physical exercises led by experienced yoga and bodywork teacher Cecilia Pla.
We will learn to work with our bodies to make them softer, stronger, and more relaxed.
The lightness of the body will also help the mind become calmer and more balanced.
HEALING ENVIRONMENT
Gomde offers you the ideal environment to recharge. Whether it’s mindful walks through our meditation path, refreshing swims in the swimming pond, fresh meals with ingredients from our vegetable garden, the comfortable rooms, or the friendly company- you will feel at home and take that feeling home with you.
