December 27 to January 2: Attunement seminar without Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche

Dharma teachings and empowerments with Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche – open to all!
In this year’s winter seminar, Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche will build on his teachings from the Thousand Buddha Temple and explain the essence of the Dharma in depth. The seminar is open to all interested parties and is also the beginning of the Ngöndro retreat. Therefore, Rinpoche will also give teachings and empowerments on the “Preliminary Practice” (Ngöndro) of the Thukdrub Barche Künsel. Although the ngöndro is referred to as “preparation”, many masters emphasize that this practice can also be considered the main practice.
The practice consists of taking refuge, developing bodhichitta, the purification practice of Vajrasattva, mandaladar offerings and guru yoga. In addition, the month-long retreat also includes the practice of protection, Chöd and wishful prayers.
Rinpoche will teach about the correct view for these practices, which are all based on insight into the nature of the mind, and through the power of his meditation experience, enable us to recognize them for ourselves.
Who can take part?
The teachings and empowerments are open to all. To receive an empowerment, you should have already taken refuge. There will be an opportunity to take refuge.
Accommodation
We have created dormitory places to make this possible for everyone who wants to take part!
If you would like to sleep in a single room, please book accommodation in the surrounding area. To get to Gomde, you can use the Salzkammergut Shuttle from Viechtwang train station, or you can come by car.
Timetable
In the days leading up to the New Year, we will prepare together for the retreat and Rinpoche’s teachings through collective practice and teachings from experienced practitioners. After the New Year, Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche will arrive in Gomde.
Costs
Gomde would like to make participation in Dharma teachings possible for all interested parties. To make this possible, we ask for a donation, according to self-assessment. The orientation value includes the participation in this seminar, the practice with our ordained Sangha as well as the meals on site and
is 75 Euro per day. If an overnight stay in Gomde is possible, we ask for a donation of 108 euros per day. If this amount exceeds your means, please let us know when you register or write to office@gomde.eu. If you can give more, you will enable someone with fewer resources to participate.
