What?
This retreat takes us into the depths of Buddhist meditation. Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche will practice with us and help us to integrate his teachings from the seminar into the experience.

If you have not taken part in the “Loving Wisdom” seminar at Kremsegg Castle, you should already have previous experience in Buddhist meditation practice and teachings and practise them regularly.
Accommodation
Spend the night in Gomde …
You can stay in a simple dormitory in Gomde.
Please bring your own bedding or sleeping bag and towels.

Camping with tents or camper vans is possible in Gomde.

You can stay in a hotel, hostel, Airbnb or other accommodation in the Gomde area.

Seminar fee without overnight stay
Retreat participation including meals, but without accommodation:
90 € per day / 270 € in total
Seminar fee with overnight stay in dormitory or camping
Retreat participation including accommodation in dormitory and meals:
110 € per day / 330 € in total
Retreat participation including campsite and meals:
100 € per day / 300 € in total
Reduced seminar fee and assistance to cover the costs

A reduced seminar fee is possible for persons under 26 years of age, pupils, students, apprentices, pensioners/senior citizens, persons registered as unemployed and persons with disabilities. If necessary, we ask for appropriate proof of eligibility.
The reduced seminar fee is € 70 per day.
Volunteering Options for the July Seminar and Retreat
13–21 July
To make it possible for people with limited financial means to join the July seminar and retreat, we are offering three volunteering options.
Participation is based on application. To apply, please contact: gomdevolunteer@gmail.com
For all three options, dormitory accommodation and meals are included in exchange for volunteering.
The volunteering period mentioned below is in addition to the seminar and retreat itself, which takes place from 13–21 July. It does not need to be one continuous period. Volunteers can come at different times over the next three months, as long as the total volunteering time adds up to the required number of weeks.
Volunteers are also expected to help during the seminar, the opening ceremony and retreat whenever there are no teachings taking place.
Please note: “Main teachings” refers only to teachings given by a Rinpoche.
Option 1: Volunteering for 4 Weeks or More
Excluding the seminar and retreat period
Volunteers who offer a total of 4 weeks or more of service can join all main teachings by Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche and Phakchok Rinpoche without paying the teaching fee.
Included:
- Dormitory accommodation
- Meals
- Access to all main teachings by a Rinpoche
The 4 weeks of volunteering can take place anytime over the next three months and can be split into several shorter periods, as long as the total adds up to 4 weeks or more.
Option 2: Volunteering for 2–3 Weeks
Excluding the seminar and retreat period
Volunteers who offer a total of 2 to 3 weeks of service receive dormitory accommodation and meals in exchange for volunteering.
They can join the main teachings by Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche and Phakchok Rinpoche with a 50% discount on the teaching fee.

- 50% discount on the teaching fee
The volunteering time can be split into several shorter periods, as long as the total adds up to 2–3 weeks.
Option 3: Volunteering for Less Than 2 Weeks
Excluding the seminar and retreat period
Volunteers who offer less than 2 weeks of service receive dormitory accommodation and meals in exchange for volunteering.
They are welcome to attend the teachings, but the full teaching fee applies.
