Kurukulle practice connects us with the magnetizing form of Tara. By meditating on Kurukulle, we accumulate the auspicious circumstances and resources for our spiritual path to flourish. Even more importantly, we gradually gain mastery over our habits of perception bringing us to the realization of mind’s true nature.
At this seminar, as the basis of our practice, we will use the Kurukulle sadhana revealed by Chokgyur Lingpa and practices by our Guru, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, and at his monasteries, nunneries and centers all over the world. But here the emphasis will be on having the ability to practice Kurukulle simply at home.
The seminar begins one day before the Dakini day, so that we can auspiciously celebrate a Tsok feast offering on Dakini day. Participants will learn the meaning of Tsok practice, and learn how to do a simple, complete Tsok that they can also do at home on subsequent Dakini days. The next two days we will practice Kurukulle, and learn the key points of Vajrayana practice. At the end of the seminar participants will have the understanding, experience and confidence in Kurukulle practice so that the practice will bear fruit in one’s heart and mind as we continue to practice throughout our lives.
Vajrayana practice instructions are a treasure left to us by the sublime masters of the past which have been passed down from master to disciple into the present day. They show us how to harness the creative power of awareness to remove our subtle obscurations and obstacles enabling us to make swift progress in our practice. But in order to do this, we need to know a few vital points so that our practice will bear fruit. We need to establish the proper motivation and view, understand how to properly generate the magical manifestation of the deity and the key points of reflection and mantra recitation. When we bring the ingredients together our practice will swiftly mature.
