The Treasury of Blessings: The Shakyamuni Sadhana by Ju Mipham Rinpoche
Seminar with Lama Ani Kunga Dolma and Ani Könchok Palmo
On the occasion of the special weekend of Chotrul Düchen, we cordially invite you to a profound seminar with Lama Ani Kunga Dolma and Ani Könchok Palmo. Both are experienced practitioners and nuns from the Nagi Gompa monastery who have completed the traditional three-year retreat.
Chotrul Düchen immediately follows the Tibetan New Year (Losar) and falls on the fifteenth day of the first month in the Tibetan calendar, which is also the day of the full moon (Bumgyur Dawa). During this time, the effect of positive and negative actions is said to be multiplied millions of times over.
This special weekend provides the framework to explore the roots of wisdom and compassion anchored in the teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni. Buddha Shakyamuni, the historical founder of Buddhism, was born in northern India in the 6th century BC. After years of meditation and searching for the truth, he achieved enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. His teachings form the basis for the path to liberation and are still a guide for a compassionate and conscious life today.
We would like to take this special opportunity to dedicate ourselves together to the Shakyamuni Sadhana from the “Treasury of Blessings” by Ju Mipham Rinpoche – a practice that is valued and practiced in all Buddhist schools. It offers an ideal introduction to the methods of Vajrayana: meditation supported by visualization, mantra recitation and the joint recitation of sacred texts.
The nuns will guide us through the practice and the traditional melodies they have learned in their monastic training. This allows us to fully immerse ourselves in meditation and the powerful sounds of sadhana.

The seminar starts on Friday at 16:00 and ends on Sunday at 12:00. Please arrive by 3:30 p.m. to allow for a relaxed check-in and if you already have experience and authorization for these practices, it is also possible to participate on individual days.
