Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche Part 2: Secret Keypoints of Mahamudra, Dzogchen, and the Middle Way.

Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche | 29. August 2022 to 4. September

"The true identity of every sentient being, not just human beings, is a state of unconditioned suchness. This is the basic nature as it is, pure and perfect. We have an inherent capacity to care for others and to understand; it’s not a product of education or upbringing. To practice the dharma means simply to develop and nurture these intrinsic qualities. That is our task, our responsibility."

Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche

We are happy to announce that our beloved teacher,
Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche will come to Gomde again.

More details about the content of the seminars will be announced soon.

Registration is already possible.

Seminar structure

The seminar consists of 2 parts, which overlap on three days.

Part 1: 25.08- 31.08.2022
Part 2: 29.08- 04.09.2022

Ngaksopuja: 27.08.2022

We will start on 25.08 at 3 pm with introductory teachings by Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche.

On 27.08, on the new moon day, we will practice together the Ngakso ritual, for purification and restoration of spiritual practice.

In the following days, Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche will give basic and profound teachings on the Buddhist way of life, meditation and philosophy.

Likewise, we will receive empowerments for the most important practices of our transmission lineage.
This will empower you to practice the most important and repetitive practices of the Gomde centers locally and at home. Likewise, it will prepare you for future practice seminars and online streamings.

Part two starts on 29th of August. From August 30th with the empowerments the second part of the seminar begins, which ends on September 4th with a joint celebration of Rinpoche's birthday.

The prerequisites for the second part of the seminar are refuge and previous Buddhist practice.

In this part, Rinpoche will teach teachings on Buddha-nature.

We encourage you to attend both parts of the seminar.
Take advantage of this precious opportunity to experience this extraordinary meditation master directly and, through the presence of the spiritual community, deepen your insight and meditation practice.

Please let us know in the comments section of the registration form if you would like to attend the entire seminar or only the second part.

Your stay at Gomde

Give a hand

Since Gomde is run solely by volunteers, the help of all participants is needed at the seminar. So every participant can donate a part of his time for this precious event and make it possible.

After mutual agreement each participant gets a "Yogi Job" for about 20-45 min daily. For example: helping in the kitchen, vacuuming, cleaning the sanitary facilities ect.

We are very happy about your help and we try to find a suitable task for everyone.

Your contribution to this seminar

It is incredible good fortune that after two and a half years we now have our founder, abbot and our spiritual director Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche back with us in Gomde for ten whole days and to share his teachings with all of you.

Rangjung Yeshe Gomde would like to make it possible for all who are interested to participate in the immensely precious Dharma teachings. The center provides you with good food, as many as possible also with a place to sleep and provides the infrastructure for all visitors.
A stable team of volunteers takes care of maintaining the place, renovating it and keeping it running all year round. Others give a regular contribution, still others give one-time donations, and still, others give a donation to attend seminars.

For a big seminar like the one with Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, many costs have to be covered: e.g. air tickets, the donations to the teachers, the translators, energy costs, and so on.

For us, too, the Corona period, with lockdown and other restrictions, was a time of great financial strain. At the same time, we used the time to finish the expansion of the house. Now the prices for food, energy and products of daily use are rising. The center is also feeling this very strongly.

We want everyone to be able to attend the seminars in Gomde, regardless of their income. In order to cover the fixed costs nevertheless, we give orientation values for an appropriate donation contribution.

We thank you in advance for your generosity and for appreciating the value of this opportunity. Please consider in your self-assessment the amounts you spend on food, vacations, and recreation in your daily life.

Each person who is able to give more makes it possible for others with fewer resources to attend the seminar and maintain the Center.

Orientation value

for your donation

If you have an average income and want to cover the fixed costs for your seminar with a donation:

980 Euro for all 11 days seminar (full seminar)
680 Euro for 7 days of seminar (only part 2)

If you have very low financial means (e.g. pupils, students, minimum pensioners, ect.) please donate at least:

490 Euro for all 11 days of seminar (full seminar)
340 Euro for 7 days of seminar
(only part 2)

If it is not possible for you to donate this amount, please let us know in the comments or by email to, so that we can find a solution together.

If you want to make it possible for another person with less financial means to participate and want to ensure the existence of the center, you are welcome to give a higher donation.
