From 13.08 – 18.08 Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche will open the seminar – with his warm-hearted, clear and humorous manner, which makes complex topics understandable and speaks directly to the heart.
On August 19, we will meditate together and let the profound teachings of Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche take root in us.
On August 20, we will welcome Phakchok Rinpoche, who, until August 24, will combine traditional wisdom with direct relevance to everyday life with his dynamic, powerful style.
Accommodation
We try to accommodate everyone according to their needs. There is a limited number of single, double and shared rooms available, which you can request when you register, and in any case accommodation is possible in the Wisdom dormitory, on the campsite or outside Gomde.
In order to cope well with the organizational effort, preference will be given to participants for single and double rooms who stay for the entire period.
Assistance during the seminar
As Gomde is run entirely by volunteers, the help of all participants is required for the seminar. This means that all participants can donate some of their time to make this valuable event possible. After mutual agreement, each participant is given a task for about 40-60 minutes a day.
For example: helping in the kitchen, vacuuming, cleaning the sanitary facilities, etc. We are very happy about your help and try to find a suitable task for everyone
Your contribution to this seminar
It is incredibly fortunate that after two and a half years we now have our founder, abbot and spiritual leader Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche back with us in Gomde for ten whole days to share his teachings with you all.
Rangjung Yeshe Gomde would like to enable all those interested to participate in the immeasurably precious Dharma teachings. The center provides you with good food, as many as possible with a place to sleep and provides the infrastructure for all visitors.
A stable team of volunteers works all year round to maintain, renovate and keep the place running. Others make a regular contribution, others give one-off donations, and still others make a donation to attend seminars.
For a large seminar like the one with Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, many costs have to be covered: e.g. flight tickets, donations to the teachers, the translators, energy costs, etc.
We want everyone to be able to attend the seminars in Gomde, regardless of their income. To ensure that the fixed costs are still covered, we provide guidelines for an appropriate donation.
