Join us for a four-part online series exploring the foundations of Buddhist philosophy and meditation—an invitation to deepen your understanding of what it means to live a mindful, meaningful life.

Led by Professor John Dunne, this series introduces key topics such as what Buddhism is truly about, why we meditate, and how these ancient insights remain deeply relevant today. Each session combines clear explanations, reflection, and space for questions—offering both beginners and experienced practitioners a fresh and accessible way to engage directly with timeless wisdom.

About John Dunne:
John D. Dunne (PhD, Harvard University) is a Distinguished Professor of Contemplative Humanities at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a core faculty member of the Center for Healthy Minds. His work integrates Buddhist philosophy, contemplative practice, and cognitive science with the goal of alleviating suffering and promoting human well-being. John is known for his rare ability to bring depth, clarity, and warmth to both scholarly and practitioner-oriented discussions of Buddhist thought.
