In the daily meditation sessions, seminars and in everyday life we try to develop and fully embody unbiased loving-kindness, compassion and wisdom through the training of our own minds. This exercise is based on the insight that the primordial awareness (rangjung yeshe), which possesses these very qualities, is inherent in every living being.<\/p>

Gomde’s life, cooperation, and seminars are an expression of the Buddhist education of the heart and mind, which is sustained by an attitude of joy and generosity. Under the direction of Ch\u00f6kyi Nyima Rinpoche, the centre\u2019s patron, the Guth zu Rath on B\u00e4ckerberg was acquired in 2004, and has since been renovated and expanded with the loving efforts of volunteers and generous donations from sponsors.<\/p>

Gomde supports and promotes the study, reflection, and practice of all Buddhist traditions through seminars and teachings, in particular the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of the Chokling Tersar lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.<\/p>

Gomde is a part of the public and cultural life of the Almtal region and the province of Upper Austria and acts in the interests of the common good.<\/p>
