This weekend, we will devote ourselves intensively to the sadhana of Guru Rinpoche. We will receive explanations on the practice and the life of Guru Rinpoche from Lama Thierry. Ani Tsering Chödrön and Ani Tenzin Sangmo will guide us in the traditionally correct way to practice the sadhana. Therefore, the living tradition of the Dharma will be presented from both a “western” and an “eastern” perspective, which is very enriching. For this seminar, it will be helpful to have some experience in sadhana practice and the empowerment for the Trinley Nyingpo.
The Trinley Nyingpo Sadhana is part of the Lamé Thukdrub Barché Künsel, the Heart Practice of the Guru which Dispels all Obstacles. This practice cycle was revealed in the 19th century by the great treasure revealer Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa and is therefore part of the new treasures of Chokling, the Chokling Tersar.
We will start on Friday at 4 p.m. and end on Sunday at lunchtime. The exact schedule and all necessary information will be sent beforehand to all online-participants.
Besides the meditation sessions and teachings, there will be enough time to enjoy Gomde’s beautiful surroundings, to take a walk, and to rest.
180€ for the seminar, full board, and accommodation
We want to make it possible for everyone interested to participate in our seminars. Therefore, we offer our seminars on a donation basis. The suggested amount covers the fixed costs in Gomde. If you are lucky enough to be able to give more, you enable someone with fewer resources to participate. If you can give less, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org in advance.
We request you to call us right before you reach Gomde, in order for the Gomde team to know when you are coming. If you don’t have telephone signal up in Gomde, please call us already some minutes before. If you can, please also take your own mask with you.
Once you arrive, the Gomde team will inform you about the hygiene measures that you should follow in and outside the house. Don't worry - if we all help together, this seminar will work out well.
Ani Tsering Chödron and Ani Tenzin Sangmo are both nuns at Nagi Gompa, a nunnery up in the mountains above the Kathmandu valley in Nepal. The nuns there are practicing the Dharma one-pointedly, far away from distractions of busy city life.
Nagi Gompa is the place where Chökyi Nyima Rinpoches late father, Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, spent many years. Our nuns are carrying on his lineage and are radiating the immense blessings that flow from a life dedicated to the pure practice of the Dharma. They are examples of devotion and compassion, embodying these qualities with a humble mind full of dignity.
Lama Thierry is a Swiss “Yogi” who, after twelve years as a Buddhist monk - including six years in retreat - now helps and teaches at our center.
He teaches from his own experience, finds vivid examples from everyday life, which we can easily relate to, and he shares his extensive knowledge of the Tibetan scripture.
He is an avid reader, film and music expert with a sense of humor and a great teacher with infinite devotion to the Dharma.
