Kurukulle- practice retreat

Lama Tenzin Sangpo | 15. February 2020 to 28. February

#Kurukulle Ⓒ GomdeGA

Kurukulle, also known as Pema Khandro, is the dynamic manifestation of Red Tara. She is the feminine embodiment of enlightened wisdom and appears as a semi-wrathful dakini skilled in magnetizing all possible resources. Popular in all Tibetan Buddhist traditions the red dakini is like a magnet that attracts wisdom, happiness, health, wealth and long life.

The practice of Kurukulle is a terma, or ‘hidden treasure,’ revealed by Chokyur Lingpa. It is extracted from the 40 volumes of practices and scriptures which form the collection of Chokgyur Lingpa’s discovered termas known as the Chokling Tersar.

This practice retreat is suitable for experienced practitioners. We will practice the sadhana intensively under the guidance of Umze Lama Tenzin Sangpo.

Lama Tenzin Sangpo, as the former Umze of the monastery Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling, and resident lama of Gomde, is trained in all rituals and ceremonies. He travels regularly to  to share his deep knowledge and experience with us. Especially such a profound, powerful practice as Kurukulle requires guidance from an experienced and learned practitioner. It is a great honor for us that Lama Tenzin takes on this task.
