Ulli Olvedi: Dying, Death, Rebirth
24. September 2022 - 26. September 2022

According to the teachings of the so-called Tibetan Book of the Dead, Bardo Chödol (“liberation through
hearing”), the process of dying and death offers a great opportunity to
realize all the spiritual attainments one has developed during life.
Since the Bardo Chödol is based on fundamental principles that are valid across cultures,
one can make these principles, freed from their Tibetan cultural packaging, immediately
understandable and accessible.
Process
Theory and practice alternate in the seminars. The thematic approach is not treated in a linear manner, but in a circular manner, and the exchange of experiences between the participants supports an atmosphere of curiosity and joy of inquiry.

This seminar is part of a seminar cycle.
In Ulli Olvedi’s seven-part seminar cycle we learn the energy work of Tibetan Buddhism in a contemporary way.
In her seminars she uses her language skills and versatile knowledge to bring us closer to profound wisdom in a simple way and through our own experience. This refers to her teacher Tarab Tulku.
Tarab Tulku: I thought it was important to extract the psychological and psychotherapeutic aspects from the immensely extensive Buddhist literature, because I think these are very useful for western people.
Tarab Tulku, the founder of the “Unity in Duality” method, described the Tibetan Tantrayana procedure as “Way of Energy”. The best way to understand the connection between body and mind is to realize that the outside of the body is the visible and the outside of the mind is thought, but the inside of both is energy. At the level of energy, our consciousness is much less influenced than usual by our collective and individual patterns of thinking and feeling. The aim of this seminar cycle is to make the harmony of our body-mind energy understandable and practically tangible within the framework of our familiar Western terminology – for an inner balance that arouses curiosity, imagination and joy.
