Our mind has an inherent potential for healing and resilience. This power can be cultivated and strengthened, especially in turbulent times.
By meditating on the Medicine Buddha, we can access this inherent healing power and use it for the benefit of ourselves and others. In Tibetan Buddhism, we practice the Medicine Buddha to support and promote the healing process in the event of illness. The sick person can turn to the Medicine Buddha themselves or someone else can meditate for them. The most important thing is always to train the mind. We practise protecting the mind from disturbing and negative thoughts. The most effective healing method is to put the mind in a state of love, compassion and wisdom.
In an accessible, modern and traditionally rooted way, Lama Öser will present the meditation exercises in such a way that they can contribute to improving health and provide strength and relaxation in times of physical or mental stress.
There are no prerequisites for this seminar. However, it would be good if you have already taken vows of refuge, and an empowerment as a Medicine Buddha would also be an advantage.
In this seminar we practice meditation in the form of recitation in the Tibetan language, visualization and meditation in silence, which is only a small part of the meditation session.

We start on January 18 at 4 pm
